Cullen Bay Resorts

We used our Territory Voucher here. While the views are spectacular. The rest of the building is showing its age. We had a two bed apartment for one night and while functional the furnIshings were bare sufficient. Some of the artwork was falling apart and the building had a feeling of not being loved for some time. It seems it’s undergoing some renovations in the foyer. More detailed attention to cleaning for the price, as you will see from a couple of the pics (we cleaned some gumption (I think) off the light switch). $450 a night was probably double what it was worth. 🤔 Anyway. Was a nice a break and a great view.

Great location and friendly place but our 2 br room on the 1st floor was in need of some TLC and a deep clean. Curtains were falling down at one end and didn't quite block out the light at the top, for example, couch dirty and the clothes horse was broken. Bathroom had been renovated recently. Tip: if staying in a holiday period, ask for a room away from the pool if you want peace and quiet.

We would highly recommend the Cullen Bay Resorts for a stay of a week or more in Darwin. While the rooms are a little bit tired they offer very good value for money especially with the cooking and washing facilities in each apartment. Location is excellent with a short walk to the marina and it bar and restaurants, a 10 minute walk to Mindel beach and markets and a bus stop just across the road that takes you into the city in 7 minutes for $3 return! All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Do your self a favour and check it out. It’s not the Ritz but good value apartment accommodation in a great location.

Great place to stay if you're visiting the top end. The rooms are well equipt and spacious, the aircon is crisp and cold (you'll need it) and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Upgraded to a 2 room unit with shady balcony. Very happy. Pity the pool was under repair. No swim for us.
