Value Inn

To be fair, you get what you pay for with this establishment. One of the if not the lowest cost option of accommodation in Darwin. Adequately designed as a standard hotel but with the feel of a backpackers. I would easily rate this place a 5 star based solely on the friendliness and professionalism of the staff alone, but unfortunately, upon meeting fellow travelers from my same floor level at a nearby bar, we all discovered that each of our respective bathrooms were suffering from the same infestation of cockroaches. Great location, great price and as previously mentioned great front of house staff but unfortunately housekeeping need to conduct more extensive cleaning of those bathrooms.

Really small rooms, mold on the walls, and we saw not one, but two cockroaches on our bed, this place needs a redo! The price is good and the location makes it worth it but only for a night or two. We found it particularly funny that if you left the bathroom door open the steam from the shower would set of the fire alarm and you would have to foot the bill! Overall, wouldn't stay there again but was worth it for the location.

Location was central. So good. Rooms im not too sure were worth $75 per night. We also stayed across the road at a resort for $79 a night which was better. I'm never too fussy just that comparing the two rooms and prices plus included extras. Over all though I'd probably go back

Good place for the price you pay. $8 breakfast pack which is cheap (we didn't have it so cannot comment further). Good location and easy access to transport. Surprisingly quiet considering its location (not far from pubs and clubs).

Surprised at how good this place is, considering I checked in at 02:00, after, much delayed, flight. Small, clean air conditioned room. Right in the heart of the pub area.
