Unless I'm mistaken there is no wheelchair or pram access to all parts of the museum. They could also do with a parents room within the entrance. The baby change room within the museum needs flick mixer types tap handles for ease of use. It was difficult to turn the taps. Other than that the exhibits are awesome. Staff are friendly and helpful.

The first experience is of beautifully presented exhibits in large spaces, very well thought out and very interesting displays. These include items as small as ants in the air-conditioned interior, to historical and cultural outriggers and boats. Cost to get in....$0...unusual these days for such a treat.

Even though not all exhibits were open, we found the museum to be well worth the visit. Everything flowed easily from one exhibit to the next and the staff were lovely being cheerful, helpful and friendly. The shop was full of great little souvenirs and not expensive.
