I enjoyed the visit overall, but here's what I found. Things to improve: I felt the aircraft were packed in like sardines. It detracted from the true beauty and history of the aircraft. Positives: The staff were lovely and very welcoming. They took time to explain the layout and pointed out what was where. There was a large number of exibits, the F-111 and B52 Bomber were particularly interesting to me. You site inside the B52's weapons bay to watch a quick movie about it - brilliant idea. What I also found interesting and useful was the shop. They sell a pretty impressive variety of souvenirs and model aircraft, plastic kits, paints, shirts, magazines, posters. For the cost though, it's a steal. You should go check it out.

Excellent experience with lots of variety. Fantastic displays retelling many aviation stories from Australia and around the world. Personally looking forward to the P3 getting a roof and becoming a more interactive attraction, after the aircraft played such a large role out of the Darwin area.

Awesome, this is the type of place that you could enter, see some old planes and walk out 10 minutes later. Or you could be like me and spend hours in there. The information that is available is top rate. The displays are very well set up. This really is a credit to those who have put countless hours of work into the place. This really is one place that is well worth a visit. If there was a bar in the place I would probably still be there.

Well worth the visit. Allow at least one and a half hours, there's so much to see. The volunteers are very knowledgeable.

Stay a while or a short time. Great place to visit while staying in Darwin. Kids and adults will enjoy it just the same. The B52 dwarfs the other exibits. It even makes the F111 look small. Well worth the small entry fee.
