My wife and I thought we would deviate in to Bunbury for breakfast on the way through.nAs soon as we saw all the parking meters we drove out and kept going.nFeel for the business owners.nDisgusting corrupt council.

What's the point with parking metres everywhere in this backwater city. Considering most of them are no charge for small periods of time and you have to print a ticket, all it seems to be is an inconvenience to tourists bringing in money and leaving a sour taste as they leave (especially if they don't do it and get fined). I'm sure it's just taxing the locals unnecessarily who work in the centre too.nnI wonder if the cost for installation and upkeep of all of these has even been paid for with the paid parking area and fines. You have got to wonder what the achieved net result is for the area out of it all....

I'm just giving 1 start because it's obvious that somebody from Bunbury City Council upvoted it themselves with 5 stars and no comment.

The council rates are an asoluabs rip off.nComparing to my house in perth with City of Stirling, the house costs x4 the value of the place in City of Bunbury, howrvho the rates are a lot more expensive in Bunbury than Stirling.nWhat do they do in the City of Bunbury that is so special? I don't see any unicorns fairy land.nI looked into the budget and I'm expecting rainbows, unicorns and fairies.nThe money is obviously being miss-managed and us rate payers are copping it.nCan we get this year's budget revised?

EDIT: In terms of environmental health: 21/8/2017...for 21 weeks optus was running two generators beneath telstra tower...when telstra tech notified them, and sent them the video (as well as to me) Optus was not told to remove it forthwith. in fact they biased with them to install equipment there and run it through telstra exchange... never mind we couldn't sleep... They seem to do absolutely nothing of value. i would give them no stars. despite the fact that i notified them a loud hum (- much more noticeable at night) an alarm was being emitted from the corner of stirling and victoria st TELSTRA TOWER, and they investigated finding it 100% correct, they have not been back there to check because the alarm must be constantly tripping. check it out for yourself, especially in the early morning all night long.
