I was on holidays in Busselton and bought 2 lamps from Shabby Duck, unfortunately one was faulty but to their credit the owners drove all the way to Perth to exchange the faulty light. It is wonderful in this day and age to have such dedicated business owners who take pride in their work and willing to look after their customers - I will definitely be back

The lady working there bent over backwards to ensure my senior ladies had a delicious and memorable Devonshire tea.

We are locals who had family visiting from the UK and thought high tea would be a lovely experience for us all. We rang up and booked in the morning and it was confirmed, high tea for 5 at 2pm the same day. We recieved sandwiches, tea and one scone each. When the party on another table received beautiful decadent cakes we asked if we were having anything else to which the staff member replied. 'That's everything for food but would you like to order anything else?'. We then asked whether we would be receiving cupcakes as it stated on the menu. We were then given 5 small bite size sweets, something I presume we wouldn't have received if we did not mention anything. We then described our dissatisfaction and was informed that there was a miscommunication with the amount of cupcakes made for the day ,something again, I presume was evident before we sat down. I honestly believe that if we did not question it, they would have happily charged us full price. We were offered a mere $5 off per person as we were told the 5 bitesize sweets (only given to us after it was brought to their attention) were more Expensive than the cupcakes. If that wasn't bad enough our tea cups and plates were being cleared away before we had even payed. Thoroughly disappointing.

Hidden Gem right in the middle of Busselton. After trekking the wine trails for several days over the Marg's region, we were finally on our way home from base camp in Yallingup. Just before hitting the road for the final stretch of highway we pulled into this little shop full of some very cool original furniture and household items. But the best part about the place was the little tea room attached. My wife and I sat down on cushioned, wooden chairs and were quite impressed with the understated luxury and history around us. In no time at all I had a toasty hot scone covered in real butter and fresh jam. Fresh cream too. The piping hot tea came out on fine china as well but for me, getting to use real sugar cubes brought back memories of tea at my grandmas house back in the 1980's when tea was brewed, just like it was here. Even the decorative serving napkins caught my eye as almost too good to use. Finishing our holiday for an impromptu mid-afternoon high tea was the perfect way to end our time in WA's south. This could easily turn into a habit !!!
