Outback Caravan Park

Good drive through site. Clean amenities but seemed to be a shortage of hot water in the morning. Entertainment at bar in park great.

Great staff, happy hour with live music (Chris Callaghan) was great. Old amenities but water was hot.

Outback Caravan Park was a fantastic place to stop overnight en route from Darwin to Alice Springs in May 2021. Myself and my friend were two young(ish) female travellers and we felt very safe at this place. The owners were super friendly and welcoming and their store had a heap of fresh produce that you really do want after several days on the road with the usual staples.nnThere was a nightly musician and it was a very cosy vibe. I'd stay here again. I think it would be a real shame to by pass an overnighter at Tennant Creek on account of the past reputation and miss out on this sweet little spot.

Stayed for 1 night. The cabins were very basic, air con was very noisy and the toilet kept running all night.nTo lock the cabin door from the inside you must use a key which is very time consuming if you need to get out in a hurry/emergency.nOur car was broken into and a few items stolen. We called the police who turned up 1.5 hours after we had contacted them which by this stage we had already left. We tried to contact management but were unsuccessful the first couple of times, once we did get onto someone they didn’t understand what we were telling them.

Had great little cabin. Staff great. Entertainment great.
