Great place that is a 35 minute train trip out of Brisbane, the train station is a 1.3km or 10 minute walk from the tram museum. Alternatively there is a bus that runs on weekdays that stops near the front entrance. There is a lot of history with these heritage trams with some dating back to the early 50s. The tram rides aren't that expensive seeing as you get unlimited rides for 1 ticket, however I will say the rides are quite short, but still enjoyable as it transports you back into a bygone era. Overall 4/5 stars would recommend, and would recommend spending around an hour or two to spend there. There are plenty of shops in town and a few cafes aswell.

Great place to visit with kids. The guys who work here are so friendly and full of information. Best afternoon

A wonderful place that deserves a higher profile and more funding! We visited yesterday and the guys there were so relaxed, friendly and interesting to chat to. They have a great format of a quick talk about each tram, followed by a ride along their little track (a crying shame they don't have a longer track to play with). The pace is very relaxed and we saw them go out of their way to help those with accessibility needs, as the trams are all from times before accessibility was universally considered. The trams are in great condition and the guys understand everything about how they work, as well as their history and the context they operated in. There's a few sheds with static exhibits to look at as well. Overall, an absolute unconditional recommendation for a chill Sunday afternoon.

There's so much history there. The teams themselves enable to see what time must have been like during those times. I loved experiencing each of the trams that were open to us. It was a fun filled morning.
