Albany Creek Leisure Centre

We had a really fun time at Albany Creek Leisure Centre, the staff were really helpful and friendly to us. We liked the different foods from the café, the different equipment at the gym and serving at reception. We hope that the construction is done soon so we can see the new renovations and so it’s less noisy. We highly recommend this place to everyone

I went on a trial to this gym and what I didn't like was the rude trainer who told me I couldn't use the equipment in the gym whilst she was holding her class as she had set up too close to some of the equipment and she didn't want anyone to hurt me while I was using the equipment, even though the equipment wasn't a part of her class. Instead of being rude about it why not set up on any of the other spots in her area that had empty space (there was plenty of it.) Another patron overheard and said she is always like that so best not to come before 10am. I'm glad I didn't pay for this gym as I would not want to pay for a gym then be told I wasn't allowed to use the equipment! Will not be returning and after reading the reviews I can see I'm not the only one with bad experiences here.

The kids had swimming lessons here and the teachers they had were fabulous. They also enjoyed the free swim afterwards but the pool was usually quite crowded. Change rooms were just OK and whenever I tried the showers they were cold. The main thing to know, as others have said, is be very careful you’re not overcharged especially when you need to cancel a direct debit.

We were members of the gym and took our daughter for her first swimming lessons here. The swim teacher Blanche is amazing! Unfortunately the poor customer service, the random debits from our account - that weren’t able to be identified and the lack of gym facilities and classes have caused us to cancel everything.nnWhen questioning why there were extra debitsnFrom my account I was made to feel as if I was being a bother which is unacceptable.nnI see from other reviews I’m not the first to find the customer service on reception terrible.

Awesome trainers in Coaching Zone, especially Pete, also some talented swimming coaches that are great with the little ones. It’s a shame the service, or lack of provided by the rest of the club is a let down to my experience as a member. From overcharging my account and not having a clue what the extras chargers were for, to sending me overdue payments letters when we are all up to date with our payments, to leaving our personal credit card information written on a piece of paper and left on reception desk for anyone to see. Oh and let’s not forget the 30 day cancellation policy to get out. Poor customer experience over and over again from the club, no wonder they are losing more and more members each day.nnLet’s hope feedback is taken on board this time and actually rectified, as it seems it’s a growing trend of late with no change seen by many locals who have attended over the recent months. This club has so much potential, It’s 2021, time to look around and look around what others are doing and get with the time, service and product offering is everything.nnYou have lost three members.
