Lulu Hostel

This hostel was a wonderful surprise and so much better than the listing made it sound, which is rarely the case. Luciana and Luis (LuLu) were great hosts and the hostel was clean, comfortable and in a good location. The breakfast was good and all in all we were very happy.

Great hostel. Bathroom are clean and the breakfast is great. Just didn't like the disposition of the beds with the AC, be careful when to choose your bed, it can get really cold!

I know every hostel in town is about the same price with about the same breakfast and really nice people. But Lulu Hostel has owners who go above and beyond to make sure everything is clean and everyone is happy. They also know the area the best. Not just good places to eat, but what boat tours are more likely to break down or the best days to go snorkeling. They even speak great English and know some Spanish, so you'll for sure understand every bit of insight. Breakfasts can also include homemade snacks since they love to cook. This place is brand new, so everything is in great condition. The TV has cable and HBO. The internet is fast and reliable. And, the kitchen is amazing. We shopped around easily half the hostels, inns, and apartments in town and this was by far the best. Comparatively inexpensive as well. So far we've stayed in over a dozen hostels and hotels across South America and this is by far our favorite.

They say they have a bar but it's only a fridge. The rooms an breakfast were fine. They wanted me to pay money for a shower after check out (the only hostel who asked me to do that out of 5 month travelling).
