Carnaval Experience

A really fun and insightful experience. They took us behind the scenes to see some of the various floats in one of the warehouses. They gave us a complete breakdown of how a carnival is organized. It requires an absolutely incredible amount of work to organize and I have so much respect for everyone working together to showcase some of the most creative floats and outfits I have ever seen. Brazil truly goes all out with their carnival. We were treated to a surprise in one of the rooms where we got to try on some carnival outfits. A samba girl entered the room and we proceeded to dance with her. It was so much fun! Highly recommend experiencing this. What made this extra special is that we went to the Sambadrome the night before so when we arrived we were allowed to also take as many photos as we wanted.

Such a great experience! We got an amazing tour (portuguese and English) of how the floats, costumes, music and more are made, got a mini samba lesson, and learned about the ins and outs of a top tier/champion samba school. So much fun and educational!

Wonderful experience thanks to special girl Cinzia our teacher in this tour about samba and carnival of Rio de Janeiro. You have to try it.

Very nice tour organized in the samba school giving insights on the preparation of the Carnaval. People are amazing. I really recommend.
