Great experience but check times before going open from Mon to Mon 20.00 brl round trip ticket it is not a hop on hop off

Long queue. Maybe its due to the holiday. So go early. Going early also means the sun is less hot making the trip more enjoyable. Nice hillside view of Rio. The tram is unique for its form and its route. I like the tram design that always allow passengers to face forward because the chairs can switch direction.

I really expect much more of this neighborhood. Honestly I thought the train ticket was overpriced. We went uphill which was cool, to get down we had to walk because the train was ALWAYS full!!!! Some areas of this neighborhood seemed to be very dangerous to the point I didn't feel comfortable walking around with bf at all and ps. I'm Brazilian! Plus I didn't think this neighborhood was that interesting so I wouldn't recommend going there.

Legendary yellow tram starts it's journey from here. The queue is gigantic, so be sure you arrive early, cause you may wait up to an hour or more to enter. The ticket costs R$ 20.

Amazing free tram ride to one of the most beautiful areas of Rio de Janeiro. Going in March again. Beautiful shops and cafes. Make sure you check it out during your visit to Rio.
