Great location for a private getaway within a big city. The views are amazing! Everything you need is there without having to leave the property. Quality of service is overall very good. Club level is great despite of limitations due to Covid guidelines. Some of the regular rooms are dated and needing updates.

i don’t usually like the big hotels, but this one is the only with quasi-private beach so, i gave it a try. and did it exceed every single one of my expectations!n*service - just oustanding. they are always there when you need them but not too infringing personal space.n*food- really fresh, various and deliciousn*the beach,n*the viewsntotally loved it!

I never stayed at a more poorly managed, broken down Sheraton. From the hour long check in, to the manager manipulating the rates and refusing to honor the price we got online to the showers pushing out water like a broken garden hose, this was a huge regret. I’m titanium with Marriott, been super loyal for years. After this, switching to Hilton.

Avoid at all costs - Worst New Year's Eve evernnWe had come all the way to Rio from France with the hope of spending a memorable New Year’s Eve and here I am, at 11 pm, writing about my disappointment in my room, in front of my laptop.nnWhen we checked in on 29 December, we were advised by the reception staff that there were three parties available for NYE : in the Bene restaurant, in the L’Etoile restaurant, and in the Carioca room. We booked two tickets for the later, and were told to come back in the morning to process the payment. When we came back the day after to process the payment, we were told it was fully booked, with no table available.nnInstead, we were advised to go to the buffet in the Casarao restaurant, which we did. There we found people dressed in shorts and t-shirt, and dinner was over by 9 pm. We were told that no other options were available.nnI understand there were very dire restrictions about Covid-19. I understand it was difficult to hold a proper party in these circumstances. But I fail to understand how and why a hotel like yours could not provide a way to its customers to celebrate the New Year. I cannot help but think that the reason why we were denied access to the party was because we couldn’t speak Portuguese.
