Hotel Rio Othon Palace

We needed to wait almost 1 hour before check in, it's an old building. But the bedroom is spacious clean and with a good landscape.

First and last time I stay at Othon. The staff is friendly and location is good BUT the hotel is simply too old.nnIt's falling apart, dusty, walls are paper thin and overall it desperately needs maintenance. We had to change rooms because we could not stand the neighbors' noise.nnThe pool area and bar are decadent and not inviting. This hotel surely had its golry days back in the days, but now it's to be avoided.nnNot to mention the price (insane). The only thing that saves is the nice staff.

Disappointed, it surely doesn't deserve it's 5 stars...nAlthough the view is pretty, the room is dirty, paperwall is falling apart.nThe terrasse is old and the bar not very welcoming.nnIn addition to this we had to wait an hour to check in before they asked so many paperwork that shouldn't be needed.nnThe breakfast was cheap American food with no taste, luckily the view saved it a little.nnIn my opinion the price isn't fair for what we get. Could be better.
