It´s a must to see in Porto Alegre,nnthis market works since the 19th century, in the same place. The market is a reference to find spicies and exotic food, there you can find almost every food or fruit that had been cultivated in our land, also you can have a lunch in one of the restaurants!

It's a lot safer than it used to be.nHave that huge variety of products and a pretty good price.nThe traditional stalls are still there.nYou can buy things that you are not going to find anywhere else.nUnfortunately the second floor was still under reconstruction as a fire destroyed it few years ago.
