For the price and ammenities it offered it's great, can't beat that price in that area. It close to the Kiosk that open at night that sell artesanal goods, Barracas (food kiosk don't go to Barraca Dede tbey overcharge), the beach is about 8-10min walk.... In short is close to everything, is very central location with the beach in the front and downtown to the entrance back.nnYou can either go right or left which to me is and advantage. Let's say you take a hotel to the far right then if you want to go see the Iracema statue on the left you have to walk like 5 or more miles to get to see it by walking. I like the centrlized locationnnThey offered tours at discounts IN the Hotel, I suggest you take them over the ones next to them since they are about 10$ reais higher.nnIf you are an adventorus type you can walk all over there all sort of stuff to see and buy, of course keep and eye out.nnThe staff were friendly and knowledgable I grew to like them more than some family members lol. The hotel could use a tiny bit of a makeover in certain areas. I mean for the price and what included is perfect for me, anybody who says otherwise is an stuck up idiot.nnThe view on the top pool is awesome and I think it's the only one who has a pool on top the rest have the pool on the ground level.nnThe masseuse on the 23 floor.... The best I had for a fraction of a cost of what it is in USA, I have some foot injuries and it hurts when I walk but after one massage I didn't feel anything wrong for 3 days.nnThe Bartender I personally think he whips up the best Capirioska/Capirinha in the area. I had 3 other's in some Barracas they weren't as good.nnThe breakfast choice to me is excellent the best part of the day we woke up happy just to stuff our faces.nnIn Fortaleza try to talk the language don't expect people to talk to you in English or Spanish this is not your country.... It's Brazil they speak Portuguese so do the effort to communicate, it's respectfull to do so. My Portuguese was horrible but I could see they saw I was making the effort and treated me very well. Knowing Spanish helps more since you can understand some of it, try to communicate in Portuguese.nnI feel the hotel could attract more than it's competitors with just a tiny bit of a makeover. Like i said above for the price and what included to me it was perfect. Then again i am a simple guy.nnI love it and it was perfect for me.nnUnrelated to the Hotel. Below.nnThis has nothing to do with the hotel but I truly feel the area would had more tourism if the flights were direct from Orlando/Miami to Fortaleza instead of stopping in Sao Paolo and then to Fortaleza... It's almost a 14hr+ flight... It unnesecary to stop in Sao Paolo... maybe they do it that way so Sao Paolo can make some money??nnWhen I saw Fortaleza and Ceara i only saw opportunity if developed right and that whole area can boom and it can rival DR, Punta Cana.nnThe Governor of Fortaleza should make it a priority to enable more direct flights I would be back more often if the flights were direct and I know many would too.

Good selection but the buffet is one of those weird things, to me, whereby you pay by the weight. Now I have an appetite, eat a lot and my food weight cost more than lunch I had in Geppos, the day before which included an A La Carte main course and a limitless, unweighed, salad buffet. I'll go to Geppos again. Not only better value but better food.

We were blown away by the beauty of this place. Not only was the hotel clean and modern, but the view was stunning. The lobby is quite small and at times could become congested. The restaurant offered a large variety of foods and very helpful staff. The apartment we rented was overly spacious offering a full floor view of the ocean. Rooms were clean and quiet! Pool was on the very top (23rd) floor and the views were breathtaking. Our family of four very much enjoyed this hotel!

This is my 4th time staying at this hotel and the main reason I like to stay at this hotel is the proximity of the beachnWell, for my surprise the beach is now closed for renovation , and this hotel does not have the decency to inform the guest before they booked their reservation.nAlso the restaurant is over priced and the quality of the food is not that great for what they chargenI love Fortaleza, but I’m sure this will be my last time at this property
