Not terrible. Not good. For $20 usd it was exceptional! I doubt you will find a better option for lower cost.

The staff is very good, and the breakfast is excelent. The neighborhood is terrible, it is a prostitution location, so it is very dangerous at night. It has free Wi-Fi, but it does not work half of the time and when it does it is slower than any 4g connection. It has ac, but in my room the thing was doing very loud noises and it was impossible to use. The beds are well made but extremely uncomfortable. The t.v has only local shows, hence 90% of what it shows there is religious or infomercial stuff. The shower is good, hot as expected from eletric showers. The restaurants close by are good and cheap. It is very close to the train station. Weighing pros and cons I can only give 2 stars, as the reviews are very misleading when it comes to the location.

Old styled room with poor shower facility. Water at shower tab was too weak and no hot (just warm) water. Too dark and noisy even at night and door locked only by the key. Hotel staff spoke only Portuguese looked kind but not in help. The food/coffee at the cafeteria was fresh and yum. It was cheap but worse than I expected.
