Rio Samba Dancer

We met Helio whilst travelling. He is an awesome Dancer & teacher. He has a most welcoming & friendly personality. You will find some humour in his teaching, which makes it so much fun, particularly for beginner, who might find dancing a bit scary! If you go to Rio and dont spend time taking Samba Classes in Rio Samba Dancer, you have lost your trip!!! This experience is wonderfull and allowed me to explore a amazing side of Brazilian Culture. It was not necessary for me to be an expert dancer, because the teachers helped me to enjoy every moment and meet a great people! Highly recommend!!

Great professors! Helio is really an awesome teacher, very professional, fluent in English with excellent dancing skills. I wouldn't doubt to have another class with him and Stephanie again. After only two classes you will have mastered samba steps, forro dance and be ready to dance anywhere with anyone!

The classes are suitable for all levels. I feel very safe and comfortable at the studio and instruction is excellent.

I took private lessons at Rio Samba Dancer. Helio is a great teacher. He's funny and friendly. It's easy to relax, and learn in that vibe. He invited me to a feijoada one Saturday afternoon. It was one of the highlights of my trip in Rio. The food was good, the venue was beautiful, and there was several awesome bands playing samba and forro. It was fun to go out and test what I learned. I'll definitely take more lessons, the next time I'm in Rio
