Shoppers Drug Mart

Pharmacy staff does not care about you or do anything but the bare minimum. Not impressed with the service that I have gotten and I have been going here for my medications for years. I have now switched to another company which seems to actually care and treat you like you matter.

I've been in Airdrie for five months and gave this pharmacy a try. Twice they didn't have enough to fill my prescription, didn't let me know until I got there and then told me I'd need a second trip. The third time, I tried their online refill service and never got a text, then days later when I switched pharmacies because of the hassle, I had issues because there was a refill in progress. They forgot about my partner's prescription the other day, so we'll try again today and see if they've done the refill. They're super friendly, but weren't able to get one prescription of mine correct.

Prices are more reasonable. Perfect service. The staff are very professional. It is the best in this area .

I'm not a fan of shoppers drug mart in general and only go there as a last resort. I personally don't know how they stay in business at all . This review could easily be applied to any shoppers from my experience. My first issue with shoppers is the pricing. I have seen items double the cost vs Walmart or London drugs and today I went for advil and didn't get it because it was 4 dollars more then everywhere else. Like why would anyone support that? It's just ripping people off and if they want support from the community then they should not rip of customers. My second issue is how the staff treat myself and just about anyone. I can't even look around at cosmetics without being watched like a hawk and treated like some thief. I have never shoplifted anywhere and have been going there for years and still I get treated like that? Unacceptable. So, because of that I no longer go there for anything cosmetics related. My last main issue is the products that they offer in general , I don't think I've ever found a true vegan product and good luck finding makeup that is fragrance free and doesn't test on animals. Doesn't exist in that store and I would think they would focus on bringing in clean products that don't test on animals as that is becoming more and more important to people now. The massive corporations such as L'Oreal and Olay are horrible , they test everything on animals and the ingredients are more dangerous then anything else. I think I'll just go there occasionally for a Lotto Max ticket and leave it at that, not a company I want to support.

Pharmacists are barely knowledgeable and will mislead you in any instance. Be wary!
