The Move Man

We hired The Move Man to move our household and the new furniture we purchased from The Living Lab and Crystal Pool and Spa. The Move Man picked up the furniture from these stores and moved them to our new home and removed the packaging and set up our new furniture in our new home. They carefully wrapped our household items and loaded them . The Move Man team were clean, polite and careful with our household . Totally recommend them for your move.

Just completed a large move (whole house, storage and garage). All of my furniture arrived in the same condition. They shrink wrapped my solid wood furniture (also wrapped with blankets). 4 guys arrived with 2 trucks (one had a lift). The move was quick and efficient. No dings to my walls or chips in the furniture. Would definitely use again and recommend!

If you value your belongings, please do not hire this company. After getting confirmation far in advance, about the 30th of December, they cancelled at 3 pm the day before. Two men show up on the 31st, one gets out of the van vaping, despite the no smoking sign advertised on the company van. Without even acknowledging me, he stood there having a lengthy conversation with my building manager about where they had met. I asked politely how he was going to keep my furnture from getting wet (because that was my initial concern and it didn't rain on my scheduled move day) and he said I should have provided plastic covers and that most people don't have an issue with it. Lots of talking breaks, texting breaks, rude communication, standing around, ignoring everything I said and even sittting. In true blow-hard fashion he mentioned ad nauseum he'd been a mover for 25 years, yet most of my furniture got damaged nonetheless. The other mover was sweet and inexperienced and was treated very poorly by aforementioned blow-hard who was trying to train him in an very disrespectful and abusive manner in a language he couldn't understand. He also had to do a lot of the work by himself. Blow-hard is openly and unapologetically a sexist and admitted it, in front of my 12 year old daughter. He wouldn't listen to any of my requests, or logic and as a result the move took four hours, even though it was only a few pieces of furniture that are now damaged. My walls are also damaged in several areas, scuffs and dents. The owner said he would call me yesterday, but I still haven't heard from him. After reading all of the positive reviews, I had really high hopes about this company and this move, however, I couldn't be more dissapointed.

We were getting our floors re-done so needed all the furniture moved out into our garage and then back in again a week later. The Move Man did an amazing job. They were extremely professional and worked quickly and efficiently - would not hesitate to use them again. Highly recommend.

Pleasure working with Ian, Curtis and the team. They arrive on time , carefully wraps all furniture. Guys are polite and work hard. Smooth move!
