First Step Actor's Workshop

I participated in the Adult Program at The First Step and highly recommend it! I learned so much about myself, not just as an actor, but as a person. Through scene study and a variety of exercises I connected with other class members and increased my confidence. All the staff care about what they do and are extremely supportive to everyone regardless of experience. The cost is reasonable and the experience invaluable.

Joining the acting class at First Step is ne of the best things I have ever done for myself. At First Step students are taught that acting is not about posturing or pretending to be someone else but rather it is about having the confidence to be one's self and to be "real in imaginary circumstances."Every instructor is fantastic, the environment is tremendously supportive and safe, and it is always time well spent.
