Talaysay Tours

Our Tour with Talaysay Tours was very informative and enjoyed by myself and my 5 year old! Our tour guide made learning about history/nature fun and interactive I recommend everyone do this tour! I will be going again.

We did the Stanley Park - Talking Trees Tour with Alfonso Salinas. It was very informative and Alfonso was very knowledgeable and friendly. I would highly recommend this for anyone wanting to know more about Coast Salish culture.

Candace is an exceptional tour leader with deep knowledge of the land and the First Nations who lived and played here long before Europeans arrived. I learned so much, laughed out loud, and absolutely loved the exquisite salmon meal served at the end of the hike. I'd highly recommend Talaysay Tours to anyone who wants to learn more about Vancouver's natural spaces and history, whether you're just visiting or live here like me.

I thoroughly enjoyed Candace's tour through Stanley Park learning some history about the local First Nations Peoples and how some of the plants in the park can be used for medicinal purposes and for food. Who knew there were so many berries in the park that were edible! This tour greatly enriched my visit to Vancouver and I would highly recommend!

We loved our Talking Trees tour! Our guide Tyrone was extremely knowledgeable and interesting. We learned all about native plants that were important to First Nations tribes. I would highly recommend taking this tour!
