The Wellness Institute is taking a professional approach during this pandemic. Currently they have set the standard of wearing masks, social distancing, etc. from the time of entry to the time of exiting. To a large extent this is being done, however, the Wellness Centre should designate one or more people to be responsible for complete compliance. It was observed that a few individuals were not wearing their masks or wearing them incorrectly. And it was noticed that the minimum distance of 2 metres is not being met in the context of the exercise equipment.

Charges members fees for not attending during the Covid19 Pandemic. Combine this with limited service and amenities makes the choice NOT to join simple. Comparable amenities available elsewhere, at a much lower cost. Yes, there is no year long commitment (most facilities these days have done away with that) but there IS a NON REFUNDABLE $100.00 registration fee. If you are okay with the constant bad odour and mouldy showers (even after multiple complaints) I am sure they will be happy to take your $100.00 permanently and charge you fees even if you don’t want to work out in their gym during a global pandemic!

Asked to "Freeze" my membership due to Covid-19. They continue to take "Full" deductions since the summer. I have now cancelled my membership. I expect a refund on the past number of months, when I return my parking pass. Many other members have encountered this same issue. Many more memberships will be cancelled, I'm sure. Totally ridiculous!

I just cancelled my membership today. The person that i spoke with over the phone is Mark. His demeanor seems like he doesn't care at all that they are losing members and uninterested to work. Didn't even bother to ask why am I cancelling and see if I could discuss my concerns. This facility only cares for the money that we pay monthly. They don't really care and value us, as their members! The front desk people are very rude and unorganized. As well as some personal trainers especially Adrian. To you Mark, you better learn some phone etiquette and have your customer service skills assessed

I had a heart problem and was advised on more than one discussion by the Wellness Institute that my medical insurance would cover the fees for their services. My medical insurance would not cover a program run by a doctor who should be paid by the province The Wellness Institute refused to give any information on any of the practitioners in the rehab program such as physiotherapists that my insurance would cover. So get your money with miss-information and do nothing to support you after
