Movers damaged my washing machine (excessive dents) and I was offered no compensation. I was told appliances are not covered under their insurance policy (how convenient for them!) One mover in particular was not very good as he had to be told to "lift with your legs" at almost every turn. Customer service curt and short on the phone when I inquired about my washing machine. I would not recommend hiring them ever. They also broke my lamp, and left my mattress leaning against the wall in my house which ruined coil alignment. Honestly these guys were terrible and now I am stuck with a damaged washing machine that is less than 2 years old. They do not wrap anything, nor store things properly in their truck during moving. I had scratches on my wood table. I saw my mattress totally unwrapped and exposed pushed into the corner of their dirty truck. Go elsewhere!

Gerrys Moving did a great job with my office relocation. Their teamwork was just excellent and they were very timely and energetic. Their services are very accommodating and flexible. All my items were very well packed and moved carefully, without breaking anything. I have also dealt with other moving companies in Ottawa and Gerrys Moving are certainly the most professional movers in Ottawa. I will definitely plan to use them again and would recommend them to others too.

NEVER NEVER go Gerry's Moving! They are not professional at all, what describe on their website is NOT TRUE! Last month, they sent three guys to help us to move, but two of them can not move ( One is old guy around 60 years old so he only stayed in truck to do wrapping, another young guy has no experience at all ) , only one guy can be called mover. When they moved our appliances, the mover kept yelling at the young guy who has no experience "Junior, you have to lift it!" But the junior guy answered "I am lifting it" Oh the poor junior just couldn't do this job. He is too weak to lift the appliances especially our washer. During the moving, the mover criticized couple times the junior guy "You should not call yourself a mover if you can't lift the thing...." So it ended up they scratched our brand new washer and damaged our Ashley dresser. OF Course some other stuff... And they didn't put runner either, I told them that they should put runner in our new house but they told me that their runner stacked behind all the furniture so they could not get them. So I had to use our bed sheets and old blankets.... After this, my husband called their company but no one return our phone. So anyway, hope this review can help other people to find a good moving company and won't have horrible experience as ours. NEVER go Gerry's!!!

We would highly recommend Gerry’s Moving as they are very professional and helpful. Our furniture was in good hands. The movers were excellent, courteous, efficient, friendly and thorough.

Called several times and finally got a call back to book a visit. Guy never showed up and now won't return phone calls. Horrible service. Use someone else.
