A small but very good train station. We took our return train to Montreal from here late last year. The station has many shops and some cafes. The restroom was clean and bright. We were a little early for our train so we had some of our bags stored there for a couple of hours and went around the neighborhood. They give you a tag that you can show while collecting the bags. The station is a little artistic from outside and there is a bit of funky artwork around in the garden opposite the station. There are two entrances to the station - one is the main one on Rue Abraham Martin and then there is one on Rue de la Gare du Palais - so one may want to be cognizant of that when calling cabs or meeting someone. The train was on time and the check-in and the boarding process was very smooth. The staff was very kind and helpful. I am not sure about the parking but hopefully, there's a parking lot since the bus station is also adjacent to the train station.

Beautiful station, friendly attentive service but the trains are not on time. 15 minutes delay getting underway from Quebec city...

Small station with enough seating areas, at least from the time of day I went. Nice green spaces outside with benches to sit on and get some fresh air before boarding the train. There was also a cafe but the lineups were quite long. Folks that want a quick bite before boarding and can spend some should go to Chez Victor outside the station, about a 2 minute walk away. The old train that goes via Montreal to Ottawa could be updated.

Architecturally stunning, although showing its age inside, this is a great place to come and get your train travel or intercity bus travel. There are amenities like washrooms, pay lockers, small food shops and ticket offices. Staff are friendly and helpful, mostly bilingual.

Would be nice if Via offered a luggage service here that was the same as in Montreal's Gare Centrale: there you can deposit bags a few hours before your train and staff take them to the train for you, for a cash tip. Here, you can only store your bags for $6 and then you have to pick them up half an hour before the train to wheel them on yourself etc. Good restaurant here.
