Avens Gallery

We love the gallery and have visited a few times. They offer a great selection of Western art- likely everyone can find an artist and style that speaks to them, offered at a wide range of price points to suit many budgets. We met Betti, the manager, who was very friendly. She told us about many pieces, and about a number of events coming up and services they offer ( ex. if you send them a picture of your wall/room, they can digitally add the artwork so you have a better idea of how it will look). A great Canmore gallery. Would definitely recommend visiting if you are looking to invest in a local, Western Canadian piece of artwork.

We absolutely love this area oh, so we really enjoyed being in the gallery and seeing artistic interpretations of the mountains painted so whimsically, and the absolutely precious bears that they have and I love the trees made of some sort of stone I'm not sure what! There's so many things that we really love, so we are going to look online see what we will actually choose! It is definitely worth a visit :-) the gal attending to the customers was so enthusiastic and sweet! She was helpful in getting names for us of the artists that we like the most so we can see the full range of what's available online.

It has been a pleasure to work with Betti at Aven's Gallery! Great Canadian company. Looking forward to the many years ahead of doing business together!

Went in gallery today was a little dry in atmosphere and found other galleries in Canmore more welcoming just got a quick hello as entered and if they don’t think your buying you get no attention so I bought lovely art down the street guess it your loss

Visited the gallery a few weeks ago, seemed unfriendly and lacking in creativity in the art department. Wouldn't recommend unless you're looking for very formal art pieces.
