Country Grocer Lake Cowichan

Went to their bakery for a quick bite. No tables due to covid but it's expected. I had their breakfast sandwich which came with either potato patties or home fries. I chose the potato patties and they were nicely seasoned and crispy. The sandwich was very warm, the bun was buttery too. Very tasty !

Place is good, is quite busy given the covids. Tried to get some lunch type food and it seemed limited.

Full size grocery store offering in a lake side town. Pretty standard grocer; fruits and veggies are on one end, dry goods in the middle and a fish and meat section at the other end. There is a delightful eatery inside were you can purchase ready made meals. Additionally, my partner is vegan and I am happy to say that their plant-based offerings are pretty substantial; more so than the average Victoria grocery.

Great store and service. Feel safe going in with the staff doing an amazing job sanitizing.
