I visited this establishment today for the first time in a few years. My husband and are VERY heavy consumers of art supplies (I usually buy my supplies in Montreal or on Amazon) I went in with a rather large list, a smile and set out to do some shopping. I was immediately asked by the clerk if she could be of assistance. I politely declined, and texted my husband to see what size paint brushes he needed, Within a few minutes I was annoyed and my good mood had vanished. Staff member was following me around and every time I turned around she was staring at me! I then asked for help in finding a bottle of speed ball super black ink, she impatiently said they did not carry it and pointed out other inks. She then went back to staring at the back of my head as I shopped. MOST uncomfortable shopping experience EVER! I had intended on buying water color paper, restocking some water color paint, scketch books, markers and maybe rubber stamps. I walked out with 2 fine tip paint brushes and a bottle of ink. I told the clerk how "fun" I found it to be followed and stared at while shopping, to which she replied that it was her job to watch me, and that she was not watching me...... ? (There were other customers in the store, and I was wearing my work clothes, maybe it should be recommended that a person shopping at this store should be impeccably dressed to avoid any unwanted staring) I will continue to shop elsewhere.

Excellent service at this store, as always. A franchise in the sales department much appreciated, and a fairly varied choice for this kind of small business.

I have been buying ink pencils several times and they are not working. They are dry and expensive not to work.Beautiful building. point.
