The Laval CISSS security service attacked a patient at the Cité de la Santé by preventing her from telling her story and giving her opinion to a Radio Canada journalist. This is a serious attack on the freedom of expression and the integrity of the patient who is disabled

This message is dedicated to the coordinators responsible for this hospital. I know Mr. Abdella, (evening service). No one can give me the name of the day coordinator, telling me that it is confidential. ? My parent has been on the palliative since the beginning of March. A procedure was established today by the leaders of the palliative service indicating that no visit is admissible from now on except when our parent will find himself at the end of his eminent life, that is to say a few hours of life. I was therefore asked to leave my parent's bedside in order to get out of the hospital. However, Prime Minister Legault clearly mentions, even today, to the Quebec population, that any recognized caregiver, or any recognized volunteer , MAY AND HAVE THE RIGHT to present themselves to the palliative without any restriction whatsoever, even without the person being helped at the end of their eminent life. I notified the department a few hours ago and I have been waiting since 1:00 pm today for the leaders of this department to modify their decision in order to comply with the clear directives issued by the Prime Minister. I very much hope that I will receive an adequate response from the palliative service shortly, as time is short, allowing me access to the bedside of my dying parent. I have in hand the proof of my role as a caregiver, I have in hand the proof of the courses taken in the past as a caregiver given by the CISSS, so I respect the required conditions. A quick response would be greatly appreciated in order to quickly remedy this unpleasant situation. Cordially.
