The wait times at this lab are ridiculous and their staff lack any sense of urgency. Do yourself a favour, avoid a good dose of frustration and take your business across the street to the other pharmacy. Back story… It’s 9:00pm I call in advance to get my mother’s prescriptions ready and am assured they are being prepared. I show up at the pharmacy 10 minutes later. I go to the counter and am ignored for at least 5 minutes. Ok, it happens. There seem to be 4 other customers also waiting for their medication, clearly showing signs of frustration. I’m told the pharmacist just needs to verify the medication, it won’t be long. And we wait… I spot my mother’s basket of medication and observe the pharmacist picking up her vial of medication, looking into it, seemingly counting pills and closing it. He also picks up the box of her other medication looks at it and puts it back in the basket. I observe him doing this at least 3 times while peering at his computer all in slow motion… I wonder if he’s confused, distracted, tired or high? It was really weird…meanwhile my mother’s medications sit in that basket for another 20 minutes. I get up to ask the clerk if her medications are ready and she goes over to where they had been sitting for the last 20 minutes and says they’re ready…total wait time since I walked in 30 minutes. At this point I’m losing patience and ask her what is the point in calling ahead. She replies, the pharmacy has up to an hour before we can pick up our medication. Small detail I wasn’t informed about when I called. It’s not like they were very busy. Why did the pharmacist take so long in dispatching the medication and why didn’t the clerks go back to check if the medication was ready instead of making us wait for nothing. Judging from what I observed and what others have commented, this has been going on for some time. Very frustrating to watch them work so aimlessly with total disregard for other people’s time. Went in at 755 pm, only to be told they were closing in 5 minutes. Why announce your closing hours at 10 pm if you close at 8 pm?

Brutal wait times! Staff do not care about you. Avoid.

Inventory is ok. I can find what I need.
