If it wasn’t for them, my dog would still be alive. Obnoxiously expensive, and completely neglectful. We brought my dog in for low energy and excessive water intake. Ran some tests and said that all was okay and these symptoms were normal as a dog gets older, as he was almost 8. We listened to the vet, and went home. Within a couple months, my dog stopped walking and eating so we brought him to another vet. The vet immediately diagnosed him with diabetes and said he was having pancreatitis and suggested we bring him to the emergency if we wanted to save his life. After 1 month of suffering and thousands of dollars, my dog passed away. The emergency vet stated that this was completely avoidable had he been diagnosed and treated for his diabetes sooner. Additionally, we brought in my cat when she started having blood in her stool daily. They charged us 1 week boarding as they tested her (almost 1000$). The didn’t find anything wrong. They sent us home with new food for sensitive stomachs to see if that worked. She then slowly started to lose patches of fur. We returned to the vet, when they realized she was allergic to the new food they had sold us. They suggested we go back to her old food to see if that would help. Her fur grew back, but we were back at where we started. She still had blood in her stool and we are out a couple thousand dollars. I have never seen such a neglectful veterinary facility, especially at such a ridiculous high-end cost. If you love your pets, DO NOT SEND THEM HERE. I suggest vet St Foy about 7 minutes away. We now take our cat here and he has helped us with all of her issues. Not only does he take the time to inspect the issues carefully, he always offers a course of action that helps us reduce costs in the long run, while being extremely attentive to the animal. You can tell he’s in his profession to help the animal, and not to fraud you out of your money.

Expensive. But maybe my budget doesn't match everyone else's in saint-lambert Edit: after several years with this vet and after a recent interaction, we will no longer use their services. We got an appointment for our cat. Almost 500$ later, they told us they didn't find anything and need to run more tests that would cost close to 1,000$!? I mean come on, this is awful. I am considering on filing a complaint with the Ordre des médecins vétérinaire QC. Its is abusive to charge this much money for absolutely with no solution.

I had a great experience when my greyhound mix Buster needed surgery. The staff took time to consult with me over the phone and answer all of my questions beforehand. On the day of surgery the staff was prompt, professional and friendly. The vet called me to reassure me after the surgery went well. She checked up on his ears as he'd recently had an infection, his nails were trimmed, I just really felt they were attentive to Buster's needs. Most importantly the surgery looks clean, healthy and flawlessly done. I'll definitely keep bringing Buster to this vet.

My husband and I have been going to this vet's since 1991. Yesterday, our 12 year old Boston Terrier had seizures and we brought him in as an emergency. The vet told me they couldn't look after him because they were closing at 4:30 pm. I was told it was a life and death situation (which it was) and to bring him immediately, right away, to the Veterinarian Hospital on Taschereau. My son in law was there without a shirt as the dog had seizures while we were in the pool and we rushed out the door. I had asked if we could quickly go home so that he can get a shirt and they responded, "No, GO IMMEDIATELY". So we bundled up the dog and started to run out of there. However, they stopped me in my tracks to tell me to pay the $86 consultation fee immediately. I couldn't believe their total lack of compassion. Like I've said, we've been with them since 1991. Always paid our bills immediately and I would say we've literally spent thousands and thousands of dollars there and yet they couldn't send me a bill? Sadly, my dog passed. I am never going to this vet again, ever!

By far the worst vet. There is another one on riverside that will actually put your pet first and not rip you off. Trust me you'll notice by how much happier your buddy is going there, there is blatant neglection in this vet and it's easy to notice quickly. This is after over 15 years of wasted money with them so I dont say this lightly.
