I bought a used vehicle with only one key and wanted a spare key cut. Paul helped me and was fantastic! The fact that the service is mobile itself is so convenient. He was able to take a look at the key, cut it, and try it on my vehicle in 15 minutes or so! He was very nice and thorough in making sure the key was done properly. The service itself cost around the same as going to auto value I believe, however they were able to come to my house and do it quickly and that beats it for sure! I'm happy to have the name in mind for any other services I may need from them!

Very helpful and took the time to ensure that they.had helped me in the best way possible. When a part was no longer manufactured, they suggested someone who recycles old parts, rather than going directly to a full replacement immediately. In the end I had to opt for the replacement because the part was not recoverable, but I'm very glad we explored the first option.

We had a new entry way / front door installed. With the new door, we wanted new hardware. I checked out a couple of local companies but settled on Always Affordable Always Available Locksmiths. They gave excellent advice instore when I went to look for the door handle and deadbolt. I wanted a keypad deadbolt so we wouldn't need to use a key. They talked me out of a more expensive Bluetooth enabled deadbolt because of security concerns. In short, the more convenient you make the lock, the less secure it becomes because there are additional vectors that can be used to defeat the lock. I scheduled a service call to have the factory strike plates from the door manufacturer replaced with the strike plates that came with the door hardware. The tech came on time, then talked me out of doing the replacement. He fully explained why; it would look ugly based on what was cut out for the factory strike plates and the factory plate provides just as much security as the hardware plates. I would have been more than happy to pay the service call charge for the education I received, but he wouldn't take it because there was nothing he would do on the call. There are still reputable companies out there that are truly customer focused. Highly recommended.

Paid for very expensive multi lock pad locks that do not work and I now cannot use my boat trailer which I desperately need. I need to pay for a locksmith (very hard to find where I am ) and then maybe they will warranty. Tried to get them to send a new key to see if that would help yet it’s not “policy” to take credit card # over the phone and they won’t cover the 15$ of key and mail charges after spending over $400 on locks. Love it when “policy” drives outcomes. Too bad as I’m in the market for a home safe and many other things. Yet it’s not my policy to spend more money with companies who can’t help find a solution. After 3 phone calls Drove 6 hours to Calgary - got one of our newer keys. Locks worked perfectly. Disappointing that you couldn’t have figured out a simple solution like dropping a key in the mail. Update- I have since discovered that there is only 1 of my multi lock keys ( I have many that all work in home locks) that work with these locks. One key was slightly different when made by always affordable. Whole point of multi lock is having the same keys.

A great, friendly company to deal with. Jeff arrived to our house and gave some options on what locks would work best and provide the best security. We were very happy with Jeff’s professionalism and installation. Would definitely recommend to family and friends!
