Botterill Bottom Park

We are SO lucky to have the country in the middle of our small city. Presently, the land is lush and green which will quickly disappear over June. The walk has stairs providing a safer way of getting up and down. The owners of the dogs are friendly, as are 99% of the dogs. Also, owners are much better now about cleaning up poop. There is always water available and poop bags. A little bit of heaven in todays environment.

The boat launch and parking lot at Botterill Bottom Park could use a bit of an update, but the area surrounding it to the South is beautiful, and lovely to visit, especially early in the morning or before dusk in the summer time. Noteworthy, indeed.

Beautiful scenery and great biking and hiking trails

One of best off-leash areas in province. Only surpassed by Edmonton’s (they have porta-potties there).

Beautiful place with lots of exploring to do:) don't sit on the cacti near the metal bridge like I did.
