Island Lake Provincial Recreation Area

Nice little place to stop for a night. The left area of the campground is right by the water and very scenic, however be prepared to wake up several times a night as the train is just across the parking lot an can come through at least 4 times a night. If that's something you don't mind then this is a great little place. It has pit toilets and a nice little beach to swim.

Very nice if you get a spot on the lake. Less spectacular if you're in the parking lot. Not terrible though.

If the park had water in empower hookups and if it was paid so we didn't have dust blowing it would easy hit five star

Was spots available on super busy weekend. Was windy, but very nice. Train came through twice in the night.

Quiet little campsite. Love it
