Shoppers Drug Mart

This has been one of my fav stores for years. From my pharmacy, to my cosmetic needs to my go to for drug store items .... I love this place.

I wish I had gotten her name, it didn’t occur to me at the time. I’m not sure if this staff member is a shoppers drug mart employee or a post office employee. I visited the post office outlet on Thursday April 30, 2020 at around 1:00 pm. I was greeted by a female employee wearing a mask and a male employee unmasked, no issue, just identifying. The female employee took my package from me and weighed it. In this process she noted that the address was possibly incorrect. I was surprised but it’s for my daughter and so I stepped back and texted her to confirm the address. The employee and I had a few nice exchanges before another customer came along. My daughter didn’t text me back until after I had left the store and she had indeed given me a completely wrong address. The employee saved me from sending a package to the wrong place, saved me $ for having to re-claim the contents and saved me $ from having to re-send it. I would like to highly recommend this employee and cite her for a ‘best employee’ award. Such a sweet person!!! I was having a rough day, my dementia addled Dad was in my car waiting and we’d had some issues before I arrived at the store to do errands. She made my WEEK by being so kind without knowing I’d been having issues.

This store is amazing. Whether you're using the pharmacy, post office or just shopping. Everyone is really friendly and they always do their absolute best. 10/10. I've been using this store for 4 years. :)

An older woman kicked me and my friend out because my friend was looking at the ingredients for something she was going to buy, and the older woman told us not to touch anything AND she was spying on us to make sure we weren't going to touch anything even though we weren't planning too anymore, and my friend wanted to buy something and touched it and we got kicked out. We think she should understand that people can touch and look at stuff without getting spied on.

I generally don't shop here for essentials because of the price, but I will pick up the odd specialty item like higher-end hair and makeup products because they have more selection than most. I pick up all of my prescriptions here and the pharmacy staff have been great to me, usually I will fill it and then pick it up later so that I'm not waiting around. They also have a Canada Post in the back corner, which is really convenient.
