Medi-Drugs Clareview

I recently switched to this pharmacy because I was having difficulty with my other one. I had high hopes for this new place since I had some luck with them in the past. I only filled one prescription so far and all was well. I called several days ago and asked if they could fax my other doctor for an additional prescription. They said that they would and that they would call me when it was filled. After several days I ran out of the medication and I had not heard from them so I went down there. I also wanted to get a refill on a different medication that they would have had the prescription for. They had no record of me calling them. The assistant seemed very disinterested in helping me. I figured once the pharmacist was free she would help me. I had to wait a very long time. When I talk to her she said she could not give me any of the medication that I had run out of because she had no netcare access. I really thought that was a requirement for pharmacists. She eventually said that she could fill it after all. So then I asked her for that medication and the other one I was trying to get refilled. It wasn't until all that waiting that the assistant decided to tell me they actually didn't have the second medication. I ended up losing 45 minutes of my life just to leave empty handed. I ended up going back to my previous pharmacy and here I am waiting again needlessly because I'm out of my medication and I need it. Of note my experience was in the evening. From what I see on reviews perhaps the day staff are much better.

I am a 71 year old patient with a heart issue. I am taking blood thinners because of a pace-maker implant. My doctor coordinates my treatment through Medi-Drugs Clareview. I just got my INR (take blood to determine the therapeutic level) done at the hospital. I just got a call from my pharmacist telling me what my INR reading is and what I need to do moving forward. I am thrilled at the service provided by Medi-Drugs. In the several years I was with Shoppers....not once did I get a call from a pharmacist about any health issue I was having. I am SO impressed with Medi-Drugs. I would recommend this pharmacy to anyone who wants excellent service. Price isn't everything...yet...their prices are more than competitive AND that do non-symptomatic Covid-19 testing at no extra charge. All I can say is...FANTASTIC pharmacy.

Went to pick up a Purolator package here. Women at the counter took forever to find the package and nearly sent me away after driving halfway across the city. Once she did find the package (hidden in plain site) after I refused to leave, she was extremely rude and almost didn't let me have my own Amazon parcel. If I could I would never get another package shipped with Purolator or held at this location. Avoid at all costs!
