Canada Post

I've never left a negative review but my experiences at this Canada Post have been nothing but horrific. Everytime I've gone, I've been met with short tempered, aggressive employees. I purchased a box to send a gift and thought the postage was included. They advised me after I opened it that it was not that I needed to either pay for the box or pay for it to be mailed, either way they didn't care. I was taken aback by this response and said I would just pay to ship it. They then said well we can't accept it because it hadn't been tapped, you'll have to buy tape before we'll accept it. Are you kidding?? The box was less then a foot long and about 2 inches high and closed.. I've NEVER had a hard time with Canada Post, other than at this location. I would suggest going to ANY OTHER Canada Post then this one. I left speechless.

People are friendly enough, but management needs to address staffing issues. Always a huge line up. Delivery notices are random at best. Closed early...

Took 20 mins to get my package because despite providing name, proof of address and tracking number, this wasn't good enough. While the order was placed by my sister, the package was clearly labelled with all of my information under the "ship to" section, so I am unsure why there was a problem. The woman at the counter tried to delay me further by changing the name on the package, which literally doesnt make ANY sense as it was addressed to me in the first place . She gave me mad attitude when I refused to do this, and she had already held me (and the growing line behind me) up. This whole thing could have been avoided if Canada Post delivered the package to me properly in the first place ( I was home and you have a key to the lobby!!!!)

This location is the worst for missed deliveries. Your package is NEVER available the next business day after 1pm as always stated on the slip. I have never had this issue at any other post office. Add to this, consistently huge lineups as there seems to be only 1 person working.

Can't or won't print their own parcel slips. I had to go to staples to print it myself. I was returning an item I purchased online. The shipping was prepaid and the parcel slip sent to me by email. Canada post would not print the slip and they charged me for the paper and tape to re-wrap the box.
