Douglas College David Lam - Lot #1088

Great school that been around over 50 years. The instructors are amazing, I suggest checking out ratemyprofessor website before picking your classes. Most classes are online due to pandemic but there are components where students need attend practiums and clinical work style settings. School soon to be accredited. Great learning atmosphere. The food in the vending machines and the Tim Hortons is unhealthy and so is the restaurant. This institution has a great extended benefits package and also has underground parking for students. Parking passes available through bookstore.

The college is one of high standards-based on highly qualified staff and the education methods.

Love it. The best college and University, if you have the chance to study here, take it!

Beautiful campus. It is located right beside Lafarage lake and is very close to the skytrain station and Coquitlam Centre Mall. This makes it really easy to go for a walk or get food from the mall between classes and if you don’t feel like leaving the campus there is also a Tim Horton’s and Triple O’s in the cafeteria. Although I would recommend using the boost app since the lines are always pretty long. Sadly, it’s right across the street from Pinetree Secondary School so the cafeteria is flooded with high school students around noon. The best times to get food are in the morning during classes (around 10am). The campus is also up the street from Café Divano which has a very comfortable atmosphere and is a great place to hang out between classes as well.

Great college with a highly diverse student body and nice campus!
