I would not recommend the urgent care here for anyone! They check you in and everyone out front is nice. So I wait half an hour or so to get called in I follow the nurse and I got stuck sitting in the back in yet another waiting room style chair for the doctor to come which was weird. So the doctor comes and brings me in to a small exam room and asks me to sit in the chair not on the actual exam table. So the doctor doesn’t look at me gives me a prescription in and sends me away. I was here before and the doctor I saw didn’t give me any kind of appropriate treatment so I’ll never ever go back here the doctors are all awful!!

I have to credit the staff on duty Halloween night. I came in close to closing time and the nurse on duty was so patient and kind with me; she would have stayed all night with me if she had to. I was amazed at the compassion.

Today we brought our son in for lab work; his last few times doing this have been very traumatic and he has become extremely anxious about having any needles. The staff today in the lab went above and beyond to help us, keep him calm, and get the job done. Joanne specifically was amazing, I can't thank her enough; she came right out to him and made conversation, bonded with him before approaching the task at hand, showing and explaining everything to him, taking interest in him as a person, letting him handle his blood tube after and even showed him the lab where his blood would be analyzed. He was proud and happy with the whole experience, and he definitely felt cared for and understood, not at all looked down on for being so nervous. We will definitely be going back here as they were much more helpful then the ACH lab.

I had a horrible experience about a month ago, wait times were appalling, Dr very dismissive, took 4 hrs for an X-ray, then they wanted to send me in an ambulance to Foothills! I got a ride in saw a lovely Dr there after having a panic attack. For the following 3 days I was driven to Canmore for intravenous antibiotics, hope I never have to go back there again.

I am very pleased with the service I receive every time I go to the building, not just to the Urgent Care. The staff working there is competent, friendly and efficient, regardless what office/department I visited. Special mentions go to Pauline, from the Cochrane Home Care team and the entire Laboratory Testing team. The great work everyone is doing @ this facility deserves the 5 star rating, especially during these challenging times. Thank you!
