This is FSJ’s “old school” gym: no flashiness, no marketing schemes or gimmicks, just good old-fashioned iron. People come here to TRAIN!

I really enjoy working out and purchasing supplements and meals here when I'm visiting Fort St. John. Contrary to what some are saying on here, I really enjoy that there isn't loud music at The Gym. I find my exercise time personal and meditative, so sometimes I like things quiet. Otherwise, I like to throw on my own headphones and workout to the music I like. The only reason the place lost a star for me is the cardio equipment is older and many of the cardio machines don't work. Also some of the treadmills have a gnarly habit of shocking you while you're running. Even so, I will continue coming here as I prefer local gyms over big chains :) Edit: Literally the day after I posted this, the staff let me know that new cardio equipment would be arriving the next week, so I added the 5th star.
