Harvey at Kirschner - Parkinson Station

Most if the drivers for the 97 route have zero issue passing and ignoring stops that have 1 person standing at them forcing the person to wait 15, 30, sometimes 45 minutes for the next one. This is a constant issue I have witnessed and been a part of.

Since parking at UBCO isn't very good and I value keeping my eco footprint small, I take this bus to campus. At least twice a week, the 97 is running significantly late in the mornings. I am supposed to arrive at 8, but the inconsistent service often makes me late. The service is less than reliable, so those who value their time are unlikely to choose Kelowna transit as an option. Interestingly, UBC offers no incentives to staff or faculty to take the bus, which is an issue on its own.
