First General Okanagan Restoration

Ryan, Wanda and the entire team at First General were absolutely fantastic to work with. We had a roof leak that resulted in a ceiling and floor replacement on our entire main floor of a large house. We decided to add in a kitchen replacement while we were at it. With two young kids & a lot of stuff this was a daunting task. First General was with us every step of the way from navigating our insurance coverage to coordinating with out own trades to completion. My past experience with other restoration companies was painful at best as far as communication and time frames for completion. With First General our entire renovation was done in record time, on budget and we were displaced for as short of time as possible. The workmanship was fantastic, communication unparalleled and most importantly they did what they said when they said they would. I would HIGHLY recommend them for all of your restoration needs. Five enthusiastic stars! The team at First General set a new standard we didn't know existed. On a Saturday within hours of a fairly substantial water leak in our bathroom, the Project Manager, James and staff were on site mitigating and managing the risk posed to our unit. The first visit by James brought complete confidence that they would help us through the problem. By Monday they had a team of employees led by an incredibly skilled contractor - Paul. Throughout the entire experience they communicated and with a steady hand worked through (and kept us in the loop) of each step. Over two weeks, they turned a very stressful situation into an experience of trust and gratitude. Paul with decades of experience was incredibly polite and conscious of a working from home environment while he took a demolished bathroom back to its original state - I would say even better! He also went above and beyond helping us work through concurrent moving problems and he even noticed shotty work done by previous contractors and helped us to correct it.
