A Step Beyond Painting and Wood Coatings

Nothing but 5-star praise for Patty and his amazing crew! Everything was top notch. Patty is an exceptionally good communicator and the crew that worked on our house was punctual, hand-working and super friendly (for weeks after the job was done my young kids asked where their 'new friends' had gone). Patty even had one of his crew come back to do a few very minor touch ups that he found when doing a final walk-around - things that I would have never noticed - that's how detailed he is and how much he cares about the quality of work that A Step Beyond provides. Outstanding!

Fantastic job by Patrick and his crew in painting my kitchen cabinets. From beginning contact to the final painting, all work completed was done in a highly professional and capable manner. This group of painters are extremely knowledgeable and extremely good at what they do. Professional attitude with friendly, talented staff. I recommend them with no hesitation what so ever! In fact, they will be coming back next year to do some exterior painting!

Another five star review for this crew. They really did a fantastic job painting the exterior of our house. I couldn't find a single flaw and consider myself a bit picky with these things. The guys were very professional, always on time, and they got the whole job done much quicker than I thought it would be. Heartily recommended!!

I've been very pleased with the work Patrick's crew has done on my place. They painted the outside trim on my place (including some very high, hard to reach places...and some very weather beaten boards. With a couple of the boards, they did a remarkable job of filling and patching them rather than me having to replace them) They also did some power washing of my stairs, gutters and siding, doing an amazing job of bringing them back to life. {Also worth mentioning as it isn't always the case: I felt quite comfortable with them being here working without me being around.) I would've given 5 stars, except for a couple of small things. With one of the rounds of power washing, most but not all got cleaned up and put back in place. The next time it all got done so I didn't have to do anything! yay! The other minor detail.... I'd had some paint that I'd thought was in good shape and had asked them to use up before buying more...but when the job was done, my paint was still sitting there, along with extra from the cans they'd needed to buy. Maybe the paint had separated and wasn't good enough to use (no one could remember why) but it would have been nice to have had that conversation at the time so I'd know to expect to be out that much money at the end of the job. Again, compared to the quality of work they do, those are small beans....and I'd for sure hire them again, and recommend them in a heartbeat!!! Also, if everyone gives 5 stars, it can all start seeming maybe too good to be real and true. So I'm just saying...they're good - and real. UPDATE: Patty contacted me directly after reading my post, saying he'd looked into why they hadn't used the paint I already had. After explaining to me what he'd found out, he then reimbursed me the amount of the two cans. I give them full stars for that!!!
