Shoppers Drug Mart

I do not know who deals with the parking lot out back but you should not advertise FREE parking and then charge 3$ ... did not have the right change ... went into shoppers and asked them to change my money so that I could leave ... she looked at me like I had 2 heads and said we don't open our tills to make change ...she didn't even tell me a machine was in the lobby ... it was another person who said they have a machine in the lobby to make change for the parking for you ... im not from Fredericton but if I was .. would not be my first place to shop thats for sure

SHOPPERS DRUG MART, Regent St., Fredericton......After being a customer of this drug store for a countless number of years, it's time to move on. Over the past year, in particular, I have experienced terrible service from Pharmacy Assistants who didn't appear to be very qualified for the job they were doing. Most recent, the service was beyond bad. A family member had a prescription and with the frequency being one a day, the insurance covered 30 caps a month. Prior to the latest refill being used up for the 30 day period, the Doctor had called in a replacement prescription with a higher dosage. When the pharmacy received and filled this new prescription, they obviously tried to put it through for insurance coverage, however, the insurance identified that the prescription was too early and stated the quantity available for coverage was zero. Fast forwarding two weeks, my family member went to pick up the new prescription as there was none left from the old one. The pharmacy assistant told them that the insurance was not covering it and that full price was required. (a fairly expensive prescription). The pharmacy assistant didn't bother to try entering it in the computer again for insurance coverage and due to the family member not having enough money on them to pay the full price, they left. After I called the pharmacy to inquire what the problem was, the pharmacy assistant that I dealt with (different one from the one who previously waited on my family member) simply stated that the 'quantity balance was zero' (as this is what was on a note attached to the filled prescription). This pharmacy assistant obviously didn't try to put the prescription through for insurance while she was on the phone with me. After I hung up from her incompetence, I went to the pharmacy to pick up and pay for the prescription. While prepared to have to pay full price, the pharmacist came out and informed me that after hearing from the pharmacy assistant, she took the prescription out of the drawer and went to put it through the system for insurance coverage. Boom! It was covered. Whereas, this Shoppers Drug Mart had decided to close early the day before (due to weather ??) when no other Shoppers in Fredericton did, it literally took three trips by a family member or myself, to pick up this prescription, two of these trips due to employee incompetence ! ..............RC

I don't like the idea of paid parking to shop there. You get 15 minutes and you need to rush out and leave the parking lot. Just a cash grab.

Made a purchase then got out to my car to realize I had bought the wrong product. Went back inside and was refused a refund based on a policy that wasn’t displayed. Management fought me on the subject, then proceeded to dig out the policy that had been covered by staff with another displayed ad. The cashier also didn’t tell me about the policy while making the purchase. Manager invaded my personal space by standing way too close and just kept saying “sorry”,treating me like I was 15 (I’m almost 30) instead of explaining why the policy had an ad put over it if it was still in effect. All around terrible service and will not be refilling prescriptions there again and neither will my family. They affectively lost 9 customers and Thousands of dollars in business over $20 in less than an hour. I will also be telling everyone about the creepiness and quality of management. Extremely unhappy.

Always fast service at this location.And staff are very friendly.
