Whytecliff Park | West Vancouver

The local hotspot for diving. I went to complete my open-water certification this weekend, onto a good start. Lots of wildlife, bald eagles, starfish and so much more. Nice drive out there too! Plenty places to walk around, various trails and a rock bridge out to an island to climb up. Get to it! :)

Beach, park, and bbq

Are many great Oceanside parks in and around Vancouver British Columbia but this is one of the best. Another one very close by is the one just east of lighthouse Park / point Atkinson. The name escape me at the moment. Because it is so popular, it can be very crowded on a terrific day . But if you pick a slightly off peak season day you will find yourself more or less alone spectacular seaside location.

The beach is so so.

Just a great west coast park with an awesome little trail and if you get low tide you can scurry over to the big rock! Bring good shoes (don't need to be hiking shoes, just good runners with grip) and enjoy the views! A family favorite :)
