Golden Ears Provincial Park

Hikes are not so hard but some elevations can give you a good workout. Bring your horses and go for horse ride on the horse trails. Camping sites are currently closed but can be accessed by driving another 5 kms ahead. Beautiful, quiet spots. It can be little cold even on a hot summer day as the area is quite damp, so layer up!

It was a beautiful day on the holiday Monday that we went! We were there just for a day on the South Beach on Allouette Lake. We got there nice and early (9:30am) so we could have ample parking and a good selection of a spot on the beach. It was nice to have the place to ourselves for a couple hours before it got very busy! Be sure to wake up really early and book your pass online because they go really fast! especially for the hiking!

Loved the outdoor adventures here. GOLDEN EARS IS AWESOME. Loved the trails, have easy to hard levelled trails for all hikers. Great views all around. So many things to do and see (hiking, camping, boating, beach etc). We tried lower falls trail which really easy and short but great views and waterfall is beautiful.

This is a beautiful place to go for easy and more advanced hikes. The space is vast. The views in every direction are spectacular. There are lakes and waterfalls to enjoy. The park entrance is not far from all the town's amenities. There's lots of parking and good signage throughout the park.

Day use passes required even if you aren't camping. They are freely available at discovercamping.ca from 6am for the same day.
