Maple Ridge Trail

A fairly light hike taken up to Mike Lake. Well marked with mostly mild inclines all the way up. Mostly protected from the sun on a hot day. Not too much for scenery for most of it. Had some cool sections where all up can see is tree trunks extending to the distance with little underbrush which provided a neat looking optical perspective.

Shared hiking and horse trail that connect the north end of 240th Street and the Main Corral in Golden Ears Park. While not directly on the trail there is a fabulous view to be had by scrambling up the rocks to the left (if you are headed toward Golden Ears Park) of the water storage tanks (approx 1km from the trail head at 240th St.)
