4/5 Instruction Started out great. Instructors are fine. One of them only somewhat knew his content. 4/5 on the instruction. 0/5 on support. This school provides no material what so ever to prepare you for the ground school exam. They show a presentation of 100+ slides and its up to you to memorize it in one shot. Not reasonable to take notes on every single thing. Only way you're passing it to buy a book worth another couple hundred bucks. To buy their paper equipment is again over priced. Get them from amazon/ebay. 0/5 Communication. Its a legit mission to get in contact with them. No ones going to answer the phone, ever. Emails will get half answered one in a while. God forbid you have anything urgent to ask them cause good luck. 0/5 on fairness. I attended 7/14 classes and had to leave montreal for family reasons. I requested a refund. No reply or response. Finally got hold of some guy who refused to id himself. Flat out said "Does McGill refund you when you leave the course" I dont even go to McGill... and "Please stop trying to contact us" after I paid out 500$. There a certain level of competence and professionalism that must be up held which was clearly lacking by management. Its all smiles up until you pay that fees. Conclusion: You can complete ground school online of same equivalence at 250$. And at least you can keep the presentations and course material to revise for the exam. You're even provided the letter of recommendations and practice papers. Cheaper, quicker, convenient, less drama with people.

My personal experience with the school was terrible. When my training was close to the end, I encountered huge resistance from the chief pilot who took excuses not to fly test me for solo. After a lot of effort of communication (2.5 months waiting), I took the flight test and failed. Some more weeks waiting, I took another test with my instructor on board, I passed. However I was still not allowed to fly solo cross-country because of my ¨limited French¨, which means I will NEVER be able to solo and will NEVER get my license. I had to leave the school for another one. My current instructor is a non French speaker. Transport Canada or ICAO never has a rule on French proficiency requirement to fly in Quebec. From earlier, I wanted to talk to someone from the school to have the problem solved, but I found no one. It seems she is in charge of everything.. I have no idea why all this happened. May I believe it is more personal than professional the way I was treated? However, I would give a thumb up to some of the instructors that I met at the school. They are friendly, polite and professional. However they are not able to help me with this issue.
