Hughes Car Wash

I always come here! However last night 12/15/20 a bit before 5 P.M. I witnessed an uncomfortable exchange between the worker and a customer. The customer had been sitting honking for longer than necessary, and when I looked over to see what the worker woman was doing she was mopping lol. She let the woman in, I went along with my business because that was that. The worker then makes a point to walk past 5 bays to confront the customer and they had a nice argument, which made me and probably the other customer very uncomfortable. When the customer pointed out she had been sitting there for a long time, the workers excuse was "I was in the washroom." Which she wasnt, I saw her mopping away. Perhaps the customer should not have honked so long, but the worker was completely inappropriate by approaching her like that and losing them business during a pandemic when local businesses arent doing that well. The worker was the short brunette who always has a scowl when shes working. If you do come, only go during the day as I think shes night shift. Management should have her on probation or retrained, because if that was someone having a really bad day then that situation could have ended completely different. I would also like noted I didnt see the worker wearing her mask at all during the time we were there.

This place is an oldie but a goodie. Always a reliable place to wash your vehicle.

I've been going there forever. It's okay but the time period is way too short. C'mon Hughes how about 30 seconds more?
