READ THIS ONE !!! RUN AWAY !! If you like paying for so called "service" then go ahead and use them. But... Ellen was absolutely useless in assisting us with our trip and especially useless in trying to re arrange things when our cruise was cancelled. What a nightmare. We essentially did all the work ourselves in re booking flights, cruise etc etc. Why you ask ? Because she is never there.! Always gone and will always tell you to "wait til next week".. because she is gone again!. BUT.. she will make sure she charges her fee first .. and then screw things up. Her other staff have no idea about your file and what is on your file is usually wrong. She can't even get the names right. Poor poor excuse for a travel agent! Do yourself a favour and find someone else to handle your travel plans. She may not know it yet but she has lost a very very large family account ! If I could give no stars.. I would have.

Tanya helped plan our first family trip to Disneyland. She knew every secret spot and important details and ensured we got the best trip for our money and didn't miss anything. I am so grateful we went to her and didn't try to plan it ourselves. Thank you so much Tanya!!

We booked two European river cruises with Ellen for August this year. One of our river boats was damaged in the Venice cruise port so we had to rebook an alternate cruise. We ended up finding the new cruise on our own and then had to change our travel dates by 2 days. This ended up costing us a lot more money as Ellen did not contact KLM/Delta directly when rebooking our tickets. When speaking with KLM/Delta directly, I was advised that they work with their clients to rebook their travel itinerary's and as a result of the circumstances they would wave the airline change fee. It was too late for us to do this as Ellen had already rebooked our flights. She also told us that it would cost us money to cancel one of our flights so those tickets just went to waste. Rather than be of any real help, Ellen just told us to file a claim with our travel insurance to seek reimbursement! Every time we needed her, she was out of the office and her staff were not aware of our file so they could not help us! Do yourself a favor and find another travel agent to book your vacations! Ellen has lost our family business! As a side note, we have not heard from Ellen since we picked up our tickets at the beginning of August. It just shows how little she truly cares! There has been NO follow-up either to see if we were able to recover the additional $3000 we had to fork out to change our travel itinerary!

Dianne you were a true professional in helping me book my European trip after Ivy at the Marlin Travel downtown Edmonton treated me with such ignorance over the phone, I want to thank you and let everyone know that even though you were dealing with personal circumstance you still treated me with a professional dignified manner and got all my flights, and car rental booked using my Airmiles exactly how I wanted,. Thank you again, you are a true asset to Marlin Travel!!!
